Cosopt Drops 5ml

Cosopt Drops 5ml

Cosopt Drops have been specifically formulated to reduce fluid pressure in the eye. It is used, often in combination with other medications, to treat increased pressure in the eye caused by ocular hypertension, open-angle glaucoma or secondary glaucoma.

Raised intraocular pressure (IOP) is when there is a build up of fluid in the eye, called aqueous humour. This causes increased pressure in the eye and can result in damaged optic nerves and blindness. Consopt Drops fight to relieve this pressure by limiting the fluid filtration in the eye, which leads to less aqueous humour being produced. In turn, unnecessary fluid in the eye is removed leaving a more stable pressure, thus resolving raised IOP.
