Flixotide Inhaler is specially designed for the long-term treatment of asthma, including controlling chronic asthma and exercise-induced asthma, and preventing asthma attacks.
Using Flixotide every day reduces swelling and irritation in small air passages in the lungs (after 1 week of use). It works by preventing the production of inflammatory chemicals that are naturally released in the airways in response to an asthma trigger, such as allergens or irritants in the air. Flixotide reduces the swelling of the airwaysäó» walls to ease breathing problems, which helps you avoid an asthma attack.

Flixotide Inhalers available:
Flixotide Junior Inhaler 50mcg (120 Doses)
Flixotide Inhaler 125mcg (120 Doses)
Flixotide Inhaler 250mcg (120 Doses)
Fluticasone propionate (a corticosteroid and anti-inflammatory, used as an asthma prevention medication)
Norflurane (which delivers 50mcg/125mcg/250mcg of fluticasone as an aerosol into your lungs
General dosage is 1-2 puffs twice a day, morning and evening
The number of puffs and how often you take it depends on the severity of your asthma and your age, and should be recommended by your doctor.
Side effects may include:
Sore throat or tongue
Hoarseness or throat irritation
Contusion in the skin (bruising)
You should not use Flixotide Inhaler if you:
Are allergic to any of the ingredients
Are a diabetic (unless advised by your doctor)
Are pregnant or breastfeeding (unless advised by your doctor)
Have tuberculosis of the lung or other long term lung infection
